The Trinity Organ Series will conclude its 2007-2008 season with a concert by Monte Maxwell, organist, at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow evening, Friday, April 11, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 North Prospect Street in Downtown Akron. His program will include works by Stanley, Bach, Haydn, and Barber as well as others. Mr. Maxwell is Chairman of the U.S. Naval Academy Music Department and he serves as principal organist for Protestant and Catholic services at the Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, MD.  A pre-concert video of the Naval Academy Chapel and its organ will be shown at 7:15 p.m.  During the concert, U.S. Navy veterans will be recognized.  An offering will be received. While studying in Philadelphia, Mr. Maxwell was an Associate Organist at the John Wanamaker Store, playing the famed six-manual organ, the largest playing organ in the world.  He has concretized in the United States, South America and Europe.  Recently, Mr. Maxwell completed his twelfth year at the U.S. Naval Academy.
