A Celebration of the life of the Reverend Dr Martin Luther King Jr
Co-sponsored by the Diocesan Office for Ministry to African-American 
Catholics

Composed of undergraduates from all academic areas of the university, 
the Kentucky State University Concert Choir is a well-rounded, diverse 
organization that upholds the highest standards in performance as well 
as academics. The choir tours annually throughout the United States and 
has performed with several major orchestras. Frequently, the choir 
appears at music workshops, seminars and professional conventions 
including the Southern and National Divisions of the American Choral 
Directors Association, and the Music Educators National Convention. The 
choir also participates in several choral competitions and most 
recently received the top rating in the HBCU (Historic Black College) 
competition.
